On October 29, 2024, Prof. Bogusław Pisarek participated in an event organized by International Additive Manufacturing Group, a leading Polish manufacturer of metal 3D printers specializing in Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) technology.

From October 9-11, 2024, representatives from our Department, Prof. Cezary Rapiejko and Prof. Bogusław Pisarek, participated in the "International MAGMA User Meeting 2024," held in Frankfurt am Main.

From June 6 to 8, 2022, the 19th Scientific Conference "Optimization of Production Systems in Foundries" took place. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of Łódź University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, who graced the opening of the conference with his presence.

The 20th Jubilee Scientific Conference "Optimization of Production Systems in Foundries" took place from June 12 to 14, 2023. On September 13, 2024, in Kamion, a symposium of the Polish Foundrymen's Association took place, titled "The State of Foundry Industry in the Łódź Region in 2024." The Department of Materials Technology and Production Systems was well-represented by our staff, who are active members of the Association

The 64th International Scientific Conference "Solidification and Crystallization of Metals 2024" was held from September 18th to 20th, 2024, in Gliwice, at the Malinowski Business Hotel***.

On September 24, 2024, representatives from our Department participated in the Meeting of the Foundry Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Katowice Branch.
