Patronage and Opening Ceremony

The conference was held under the honorary patronage of Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology, and Professor Jacek Sawicki, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, who officially opened the event. The opening ceremony was enriched by a performance from the Kwartet Smyczkowy Industria (string quartet), which presented pieces inspired by Łódź’s cinematic and musical heritage.

Rich Scientific Program

The conference featured four scientific sessions and a poster session, during which the latest research findings in foundry engineering, materials science, and production process optimization were presented. Topics included innovative casting technologies, applications of machine learning, materials recycling, and energy transformation in industry.

Over 20 research posters were presented during the poster session, including contributions from members of the Student Scientific Association. The high substantive level of the presentations and the lively discussions confirmed the conference’s importance as a platform for knowledge and experience exchange.
