On September 26, a meeting was held at the headquarters of Superior Industries Production Poland Sp. z o. o. in Stalowa Wola to discuss the implementation of a new quality control system in the production of aluminum wheels.
Representatives of our Department Prof. Cezary Rapiejko and Klaudia Hillebrandt-Szymańska, MSc Eng., took part in the event. They became acquainted with the full technological process and presented proposals for quality control solutions at each stage of the production process.
The meeting was led by Leszek Chowaniec MSc Eng., MBA, DBA - Technical Director at Superior Industries Production Poland Sp. z o. o. , who outlined the current challenges in improving the production process and the objectives of introducing the new quality system.
The visit was not only an opportunity to exchange experiences but also marked the beginning of scientific collaboration between our Department and Superior Industries Production Poland Sp. z o. o. Joint efforts will focus on conducting research into innovative quality control methods in foundry engineering, with particular emphasis on product marking technologies. This will enable full traceability of products and precise analysis of technological parameters and their impact on the quality of final products
